If you love a good antique store / shabby chic / boutique store --- check out Kathie's Finds in Maple Plain. Kathie shop is located in an old creamery -- I love that building! Her store is currently in the front porch area and sounds like sometime in the future she will expand further into the creamery. Until then, don't let the smaller space fool you. There is a lot of cute stuff to see and definitely check out what she can do with custom gift baskets. They are NOT your typical wicker basket with a bunch of filler.
I found a great gift that I bought for Mother's Day!

Hi,
I've been to Kathie's Finds and I completely agree with you! It's really amazing in there. She's now opened up a few more spaces within the creamery and it's really fun to explore it.
Kathie's hospitality is warm and wonderful. You'll enjoy your time with her when you stop by.
As for the baskets, you're right. I've ordered many from her over the phone and each one I get is personalized to the person I'm giving it to. I've given these gift baskets for a death in the family, a 70th birthday party, a colleague moving on to another job, a thank you for a job well done, and for door prizes at my weekly meeting. Every one was unique and beautiful!
She's recently just started a line of "green" totes (super cute!) and cozies. What's great about these is that they are made from 100% recycled materials and she supports the Cottage Industry, employing women to do sewing--allowing them to work from home.
All you have to do is call or stop by. You'll be glad you did! Her website is www.kathiesfinds.com.
